Tasting Notes
The 2016 Grenache exudes a fiery, ruby-red color in the glass, smelling of citrus-rind, star anise, and red berries. On the palate, there are fine notes of raspberry and baked cinnamon coupled with a light oak profile heading with a bright acidity and freshness. Possessing a medium body with good weight, this wine will drink well now through 2025. This will hold up well with a dish like Cassoulet or go ahead and pair with a Spanish classic like Paella.
