The Galician company Bodegas Godeval today produces wines with the same zeal and commitment with which they started, 30 years ago, to recover the white variety godello, under the Valdeorras. In its facilities, located in the historic surroundings of Xagoaza (Or Boat), they began their project of recovery of the variety in the years 80, using part of the medieval building of the Mosteiro de Xagoaza as a winery and the planting of vineyards, to control all the process and follow the maxim “that the wine is made in the vineyard”. With the passage of time and the need to continue meeting the needs of their customers, It expanded its plantations and facilities. The new winery is designed to become a view of the valley, in the unites tradition and modernity.
