Izadi Blanco comes from vines with an average age of 45 years old, planted on poor clay-limestone soils at about 450-550 metres above sea level. These are old vines grown according to the principles of integrated viticulture and that produce very small but high quality berries through a limited yield. When the grape reaches optimum ripeness, it is harvested by hand.
