Strain: 100% Malbec.
Reception: is done on a grape bunches selection belt, which guarantees health, cleanness and strain purity.
Production: Harvesting is carried out manually, in plastic boxes of 18 kilograms. At the winery the grape bunches are selected and then destemmed before a two days cold maceration, according to the enologist tasting.
Alcoholic fermentation: traditional fermentation with selected yeasts at a temperature of 26°C to 28°C.
Malolactic fermentation: spontaneous, with native bacteria.
Aging: short aging in American oak, which reflects the primary aromas of the vine.
Alcohol: 13.2% Vol.
View: attractive red ruby color.
Nose: red fruits such as plum, blackberry, and subtle notes of vanilla stand out.
Mouth: the freshness of a young wine couples with the characteristic stamp of the Barrancas’ terroir. A medium body wine with predominance of red fruits. Good acidity and long-lasting in the mouth. It is ideal to have with finger food, meat empanadas and pasta such as spaghetti with filetto sauce.
