Color: Ruby of a good intensity with garnet reflections.

Bouquet: The Barolo Terlo 2012 presents the olfactory bouquet full of red fruit (cherry and raspberry), a light sweet note of oak that is felt at the distance giving its way to the earthly note connected with the terroir of origin. With the time in a glass one could perceive slight notes of aromatic herbs and spices that makes the bouquet complex, may be thanks to the vintage (that is not so warm as some of the last vintage) but we find ourselves in front of the bouquet that predicts the interesting palate.

Taste: It is the wine that shows the signature of the vintage and the cru. The final result presents us the Barolo with the right tannins, with some slight sour note in the beginning, that could be appreciated for its elegance of the poise, never excessive, for its excellent extraction being accompanied with a salty/mineral note that makes it easy to drink. The slightly oaky note still limits the energy and the tonicity of that wine but with the evolution in bottle that wine will know to treat us with the pleasant and aristocratic elegance.
