Growing location: Barolo.
Exposure, altitude: east, 330-350 m.
Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo.
Vinification: maceration of 30-35 days.
Ageing: 36 months in large oak casks.
Serving temperature: 61/64°F.
Color: Ruby color with garnet reflections.
Bouquet: At first you feel a good fruit/floral complexity, after you feel more aged notes that derive from flowers under spirit and dry fruit. The bouquet is pleasant and attractive.
Taste: It is still a close wine without being tough that is quite typical for the cold and rainy vintage. The taste perception is fresh, almost delicate at first , then you start feeling the fine tannins well accompanied by the good extract that leave the palate dry and ready for the next sip.
