Living proof that Tempranillo in the classic Rioja style can age. Wonderful tawny pale color with a distinctive tanned leather, dried herb and smokey nose followed by an initial 3/4 finish which opens in 15 minutes to a rounder, richer melange of old cherry, clay, earth, orange peel and a drying sensation not quite tannic in nature.
