Apriori Cellar was founded on the principle that quality, authenticity, and joy should be part of every wine experience. Our winemaking philosophy is deeply rooted in balance and terroir, which is why we strive to showcase the pure qualities of our grapes and distinctive personalities of their climates. Our exacting commitment to beauty and truth results in very high-quality wines that are sure to bring pleasure to everyone.

Apriori is the fruit of a collaboration between Patrice Breton & Georges Sabongui, two very passionate, focused and driven vintners who have been friends since high school. Both Patrice & Georges enjoyed successful careers in the technology industry before dedicating their attention to the craft of wine. 

Legendary winemaker Philippe Melka joined the production team as a consultant in Fall 2015. Philippe is well known throughout the world, having worked for such esteemed estates as Château Pétrus, Château Haut-Brion, Bryant Family and Dominus Estate.
